    Default Remote AUDIO Adapter

Does anyone have any experience with the V1 Remote Audio Adapter that Valentine sells for $50 ?

I have already ordered my "returned" V1 but I don't think it's shipped yet ( at least they have not called me).

I was thining about calling them and adding it to my order. I worry about my wife *****ing about the V1 "beeping" all the time. If I had the remote audio thingy, I could plug in an earphone for it and avoid being harassed by her AND the kids.

    Worthwhile accessory to get ???

    Thanks, Tim

    Ya.... I agree.

I just called Valentine and inquired about "returned" Remote Audios.

They "DO" sell returned ones "when" they get them at a 10% discount as well. They just happened to have "one" in stock and added it to my order.

I would have ordered the remote display too, but I opted to order the Modified Remote Display from Lifespeed. That is supposed to come this week.

The young lady also informed me that they now have a returned V1 in stock and my order should ship out today !!!

I guess I can call back tomorrow to get the tracking number.

I know I'll be a basket case when it gets here trying to figure out how to work the darn thing..... what settings are best for my area etc....

I better start reading the manual on the Valentine site.... NOW !

Although, someone else said they learned MORE about the V1 reading this forum than from the manual.

And, of course, I have to figure out what to buy with the $4.00 I saved by ordereing a "returned" Remote Audio Display.....

I use the remote audio adapter. I keep my concealed display on my dash in a corner along the windshield. It stays hidden behind the inspection sticker. So I am not able to reach the mute button where its at. I keep the RAA down low so if and when I have to hit the mute I don't have to reach up.

When you get it, be sure to turn your V1's volume all the way down and use the audio solely from the RAA.
