    Default v1.9 or new revisions?

Has anyone asked or talked to VR people to see if they have any plans for coming out with v1.9 anytime this year or a new revision soon?

I remember in the past before POP came out I asked a tech member how long it would be before it came out and they told me about 6months...but it ended up being more like 12 months in the end...but atleast they told me a rough guess.

I wonder if they would give us a rough guess or time frame if we asked them.

I doubt if they would give us much info  But as others have said, I think to increment up to 1.9, there would have to be a cosmetic change in the detector.

I doubt that will ever happen due to the costs involved on both ends.

We probably won't see hardware version 1.9 until they have Spectre immunity and possibly 16ms POP detection.

I dropped them a message on their website about new revisions. They told me that nothing is in the works as of right now. I also asked if they planned on changing the LED's to different colors for clearer identification of bands. They told me they could not find any LED's that show up as well as the red

Yeah, thats complete BS, they cant find a better color then red... well its staring you in the face with the X50... I just dont think they want to do it because the price involved in it, as long as you dont own a covertable or motorcycle the red display should be fine... however it is know to dissappear in the T-tops of older cars, Supra Tops, and various other cars where the top (window) moon/sun roof completely retract or are removed. Personally I want a manual brightness setting feature, instead of automatic, keep the red display though.
