My V-1 locked up

It's fixed though for now. I was driving and I looked up and noticed the front arrow was lit up, k band light was lit up. I ignored it as there are falses all over the place but after driving about 5 miles I realized I had not heard a thing out of it. I look up and it says the same thing. I was like wait a min. But sure enough it was locked up. No tones, it was not on mute. I was around a bunch of stores and it should have been screaming. So, I turned it off and back on and it has been working fine.

Anyone else have this happen?

not really, everytime there is an arrow i have an alert for a band, usually K around my area

on another note my friends 8500 locked up on K band alert and wouldnt stop until we reset it

Me? Operator error. Na. I had looked up a few times and saw it but I was talking most of the way home. It had been like that for a while. I even looked at it for about 30 seconds before I turned it off and back on and it never changed. I think it was just a minor glitch.

Power surge maybe? Make sure your connections are tight.

I've never had my V1 or any other detector lock up like that.

its all good in the end we come here to nerd it up about out RD's cause every iddiot that see's it in my car says whats that thing? cool? and im like uhhhh back to the forums where people know their stuff :!:
