Default V1 and an FX 45 Infinity

Today I was driving on rt. 95 when I get laser alerts from behind. I slow down immediatly and switch lanes in front of this infinity. The wierd part was that I continued getting laser alerts from the back for miles! The car's lights were off so it definetly wasn't that, but I have heard about luxury cars having laser-guided cruise control systems. This must have been the case because cop laser guns can't be used in motion. Does this sound familiar with anyone else running a V1 or getting falses like this?

from what i know about the Fx's system it's designed to keep the same distance and will accelerate and brake to stay the same distance as the car infront, it's an awesome system

    Default v1

The car was about 125 feet behind me when I first got the alert. How is this good news? I think it is just another annoying false to deal with. Also, how is it that infinity can figure out how to use moving laser technology but police cannot? I would really like to know how this system works.

it not moving technology thing it's a distance reader and that tells the car's computer to accelerate or brake to maintain the same distance
