Re: What is a bigger threat - Chrome or Front Plate? I always scuff the really reflective top coat of paint off my plates w/ an SOS paid. Also, the greyness of the pad transfers to the plate and dims it quite a bit. Then put a lightly veiled plate cover on.
The SOS dimming will allow you reduce the amount of veil needed, as plate reflectivity will be lower. So, you have maximum plate visibility (to not draw attention) but mimimum reflectivity.
The veiled cover will mask that fact that the top coat of paint is missing. It all works very nicely together.
