Suggestions?
I am new to this forum and have been reading a lot in the past week. I have an old whistler but would really like to get a new one looking to spend no more than $150. It seems that the best way to go in this price range is getting the whistler pro or xtr series. Which one would you guys recommend? Finally, what is the difference between the xtr 560 and 425? I wish I could wait a liitle longer in buying one but I'm making a cross country road trip in two weeks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

It appears to me that the higher model offers selectable bands and an external speaker jack, but that looks to be about it.
In your price range, Roy has the Whistler Pro-73.

Free UPS ground shipping too! Might be a good way to go.

Or if you want to go a little more inexpensive the Pro-58 is a great little detector. Same performance as the 73 just less features.
