i had some questions to pro 73 owners....

which city mode do yall use the most

city, city2, city3

i had mine on city mode and picked up too much x band.. and it was little annoying...

i gotta know which mode is the best to turned to

Well I use it on City 2 because I live in Florida and X bands are not used by Cops, Depending from where you live you might need to have X band.

Good to hear that someone else saved his money.

NOTE: I seen that City 1 has better filtering than City 2 :?

well i live in gerogia and i have no clue if the cops use x band or not... i guess i gotta find out for myself.. lol..

I would use city 1 then, until someone here that knows the law there tells you whether or not X band is used.

I would drive around police spots, and have it on highway mode. Highway will give you all alerts, reguardless of signal strength. Once you find out what band the cops use, then make your choice. The cops in my neck of the woods use K and KA, so I keep mine on City 1. What I like about City 1, is that it will still pick up X band but only if the signal is strong. Plus there still is full K and KA band protection.

I travel mostly highway just outside of Chicago. For that I use Highway, but it still picks up alot of X band and a few K band false alerts. I tried using both City 1 and City 2 when off the highway but there is way too many false readings from all of the stores. Still I 'd rather get several false hits if it gives me the one real one when I need it.
Any other Pro 58/73 users find that the on/off-dim switch is a pain? I usaully just dim the unit when I try to turn it off. Also, anyone else in the Chicago area picking up laser? Had two hits the past couple of weeks.
