Heading home today, coming down Powers Blvd, I started getting an X-Band hit in a spot I haven't the past two days. Just south of Woodmen Road. This is a HILLY stretch of road, but I got X-Band with 2 bars for about ten seconds, then it went away as I entered a low spot. Speed of traffic was five-over, and I was blended into the middle of the pack, so I wasn't too worried. Top of the first rise, I got hit with 4-bars on X-band, then at the bottom of the hill, 7-bars. Almost full strength. Sure enough, there was a CSPD blazer on the right side of Powers, about a half-mile ahead of me.
It is possible that the first X-Band hit came from a series of shops and businesses on the east side of Powers (don't show on the 3-year-old image), but I didn't get one there yesterday, so I don't think so....
Here's the mappy:
I actually placed the tack for 7-bars too far north...should be almost at the intersection. I'll redrive the route later and see if it does the same thing.
