So I'm headed down Marksheffel road -- a 2-line county road -- and I get a laser hit with a strength of 4 on the meter. It lasted for about 20 seconds, then went away (the laser tone is VERY distinct, btw). It was foggy, drizzling, and around 10:15 a.m.. Only things around me: Water tank to the east with a known broadband internet antenna, modular homes to the west. Open road north, sherriff's substation about a mile south, as well as a propane tank farm.
Never got one there before, either, so it was something unique to this trip. I'll have to investigate, but that laser tone is VERY easy to distinguish from the others.
