whatever happened to the pro series

Detectors Returned: Cobra XRS 9300 and XRS 9500
Conclusion: Cobra = Crap!

when i spoke to whistler a few days ago they said the pro series are soon to be phased out in place will be the xtr ones...the pro 58 is pretty much gone and soon to be the 73 model.. again just what i was told by their tech dept..

I notice the XTR-280 is not mentioned. How does that compare with the 220? Good product?
