Here is the deal. To and from work I usually take a particular back road to bypass traffic and after a while started recognizing the usual vehicles I pass. I guess I'm not the only person stuck in a rut and routine! (Note to self...stop being so predictable!)
I usually pass a "Soccer Mom" in a Suburban taking about 4 kids to a nearby school. She has a Cobra...easy to spot since it points towards the sky and you can see its whole profile hanging in the window!
When I first got the Pro 78, leaving POP on would set off a quick Ka-false on my 78 with Filter 1 while passing her. This happened 3 days in a row. So I cut POP off, still Filter 1, and receive nothing from her.
This morning decided to turn POP on to see what would happen. Sure enough I get a quick Ka false as we pass one another. On the way home passed her again with POP off...and nothing.
So, if you follow all that to this point, thanks for hanging in there! My question is...
Does POP help with sensitivity since with it on I can get a false alert and without it I get nothing?
Is it just the nature of the beast called POP?
Inquiring minds want to know!! :?
