Default Battery Voltage Meter on Pro-78 or XTR-690?

I know the 1793SE can display battery voltage when pressing Vol Up + Down. I've also seen the battery voltage display feature listed for the XTR-690. however, in neither manuals of the new units can I find any reference to a voltage display.

Is this feature on one unit? both?

I know its on the 690.

You just press the quiet and dark buttons at the same time.

    I like that feature.

Cool. Anyone know if it's on the Pro-78? That's a great feature for me, too. I regularly run my car for a good amount of time on ACC with radio or even an inverter plugged in, and that meter has been a great tool for me to decide when to take a break.

Get both. Use whichever one your mood dictates. They're cheap enough!

bwahaha, no. This might come down to a coin flip....

Hey Mike, why doesn't the Pro-78 come with this feature? I'd expect it to be pretty trivial to implement?

i just got the pro-78 and i'd say the better LED screen is worth it over the 690. u can always buy a compass/battery voltage meter at any auto store...
