Driving to a worksite today- yapping on the Nextel and running late is a bad combination! I usually pull over to talk but today time was not on my side. I was on a 2-lane road where the PSL is 35mph and really should be 45mph
Anyway yapping away and I get a K-band blip...I look down and I was doing 45-50, whoops! I slow down quick, and approximately .40 miles later I get a full blast k-band alert from a Creedmoor, NC cop running I/O under a big tree, facing me on the opposite side of the road. I was so engaged in converstaion, I didn't even think about a having a rabbit! He must have targeted the car going away from him that passed me just before I saw him. Whew thanks Whistler!!
Later on in the day, I got to play with a "Speed SIgn" in Durham, NC...on two runs I averaged about .60 miles. My last run was interupted by NCSHP running Ka constant within that .6 miles and the Whistler gave priority to the Ka signal...which was the real threat!!! Thanks again Whistler! I wasn't speeding because I wanted to see if my speedo was accurate, and it was.
So there was my fun today! The Pro78 reeled me in and reminded me to pay attention!!!! ops:
