Pro 73 question...
Might be an obvious one but...everyone who experiences the K band flasing on the pro-73...do you have pop on or off? I ask because my dad always complained of K band falsing on the Pro-73 and I noticed when cleaning/tightening screws that POP was turned on....*smirk*...also...what about a good replacement speaker for this unit...any ideas? Whistler has already replaced the speaker once and already it is crackling like the other did before death...thanks

Both... I actually tend to have fewer one-blip K falses in POP ON mode, presumably due to decreased sensitivity.
But whether ON or OFF, it still happens. I'm guessing the falses are caused by signals in the >67ms and <500ms area that the Pro-78's can filter out, so POP mode doesn't have any influence over it.

Yeah, I know. It'd be great if Whistler could just hardcode something like FILTER 1 or even FILTER 2 into the detector when POP is OFF.
