    Default Whistler Check-up

    I sent in my Pro to Whistler a few weeks back for a check-up. My warranty was just about up so I decided to take advantage of the nice two year warranty and have it looked at. Whistler said everything "checked good" and "Tested fully functional". I was pleased how Whistler paid for return shipping. I love the two year warranty on the Pro Series. I did not ckeck if Whistler kept this for the Pro 78. I almost purchased the 78 at $142.99(I think). Probably will soon. Oh, I called escort because I was bored and asked if I could buy an original 8500. He asked why I would want the original and not the X50. I just told him I do not need the Pop technology. He said no.

    Actually, I believe the Pro-78 has a three year warranty....I think....

    Yep, Whistler does this for all of their detectors, and the Pro-78/XTR-690 both have 3-year warranties. I don't think the term "customer service" even begins to describe how much Whistler goes out of their way to make customers satisfied.

    Yep. They're one of the few companies making ANY product -- not just RDs -- that I can say is absolutely there for the customer. Whether it's MichaelB here on the forums or someone at the end of a phone line, they're fantastic.
