Ok, it's been asked before how the XTR-690 FILTER modes affect Cobra false filtering. I've made a video of my XTR-690 against the Cobra XRS-9300 11-band model.
To recap for those too impatient to watch, FILTER 1 or higher is required to tune out the falsing, and POP ON in all 3 FILTER modes will cause POP falsing, as Mike said earlier today. Also, at a very close range, even POP OFF + FILTER 2 will false to a Cobra, but it's not a range that'd reflect normal driving conditions (err.. rather if it does, you need to start leaving more following distance )
It's in iPod Video compliant MP4 format, because I had a converter script handy for that. iTunes plays it fine, as will VLC or any other player that supports the H.264 and AAC standards. Apologies for the poor lighting and video quality, and lossy audio too.
