mike, let's say someone unknowingly buys a detector from a blacklisted dealer and later needed to service the unit. How would Whistler most likely respond?
I have no doubt that Whistler has our best interest in mind, but I am too slightly concerned that new customers might get shafted out of your great service without even knowing it.
That's my question, too. If a customer unknowingly buys from an unauthorized seller, what protection do they have?

Like I said, Whistler is not out to screw the customer.
You will be taken care of as long as your unit does not fall under the categories listed such as:
Purchase of stolen merchandise
Inability to validate the original purchase date and ownership with the original sales receipt
Item shipped to you may be counterfeit, or refurbished goods
Item may ship with serial numbers removed
Item may appear new but contain damage from improper use
Price may be incorrect, or changed after you place your order
All that is being said is beware of these risks when purchasing from an unauthorized reseller.
