Whistler Unauthorized dealer list
UPDATE
The list of unauthorized dealers is now viewable on the Whistlergroup.com website.
Purchases of New Whistler product should be made thru authorized dealers.
If you have purchased from one of these dealers prior to the date of this this posting, Whistler will honor all warranty service with a copy of your dated receipt.
Wow thats a lot of places.
Good to know that Whistler will be honoring the warranty of those who purchased before there was a list like this, such as myself.

what about places like e-bay and amazon.com?
In general, the auction sites are not authorized sellers.
There are some stores that may be set up on ebay and it is possible that they may be authorized sellers.
Shop smart, there are many reputable authorized sites such as radarbusters and buyradardetectors just to name a couple.
If the advertised price is below these authorized sites, you need to consider your risks.
Where do these unauthorized dealers get there inventory? What makes an authorized dealer authorized?
i think this is some BS from whistler. whistler wants to sell at jacked up prices through some dealers and all others who give at reasonable price is automatic unauthorized.
i can understand ebay and all but BUY? i believe they sells hundreds of whistlers on their site and i dont think the inventory they get is illegal... just cutting into wistlers profits.
may be they should go v1 way and make it only available through their site which needs lot of improvement first.
