Well, today I decided to grab my girlfriends cobra and do some testing, holding the detectors very close facing eachother.
Ka 5 = Max for Cobra
Ka 9 = Max for Pro 78
Pro 78 : Filter 2 : POP Off
Nothing. The Pro 78 did not make a sound. The Cobra was on Ka 5 the entire time.
Pro 78 : Filter 2 : POP On
It falsed on POP, and when Held closer, went all the way to Ka POP 9, Cobra Ka 5. The Pro 78 suddenly had a K 9 Alert
Pro 78 : Filter : POP Off
It took a bit, but eventually the Pro 78 went to Ka 9. Cobra at Ka 5.
With POP Off and Filter 2, the Pro 78 is completely Immune to Cobra XRS series falses (ESD not tested yet).
With POP On, expect K/Ka falses, mostly POP type.
With lower filter settings, regular Ka falses.
Great job Michael B with Rev C!
I believe the New XRS cobras leak less than ESD models, I am going to try and get one to test with.
