new pro 78 owners
Hello all,
I purchased a new Pro 78 ver c last week. I'm new to the whole radar thing. I used it this week on a long drive to south fla. I passed several speed traps and this radar did nothing. I know they were shooting radar becasue I could see them holding and pointing it. I passed 3 differnt traps and nothing.... It did work on the "speed" signs though
Am I missing something? seems like this thing is useless? What are they using?
I keep the POP mode off.
looks like laser, if they are looking through it and shooting at select cars. laser will be alerted only if they hit you direct or luckily u get a scatter.
Is there anything I can use to help this, again I'm new to all this stuff.
Seems like are all using this in FLA
laser jammer is the option. look around the forum for more info on jammers.

hey bro... go check out the laser jammer forum... all the questions you can ever think of will be answered there. good luck and welcome to the forum. btw... if you think something is wrong w/ your detector, drive to your local grocery store and aim your RD to the door, make sure there are motion sensors
Last time I drove through there I was shot with laser 5 times between two rest areas, so yeah I think they're pretty laser-heavy.
