Got my Pro-78 from Amazon today. First RD for me. I drive a Focus ZX4 ST, and my windshield is slanted in an angle that makes it difficult for me to attach the RD using the suction cup thingy without bending it like crazy. So I opted for the non-slip pad that comes with the Pro-78. Not too bad, it really does prevent it from sliding around, even in tight curves. But it does cause a LOT of glare in my windshield. Particularly the silver buttons on the top of the 78 are like polished mirrors. Any good idea of what could be done about that?
Also, how much deflection do winshield wipers really cause? In my case, they are somewhat in front of the RD, but then again, we are talking about radar here, right, and there shouldn't be a need to have a perfectly clear line of sight. Others are even saying that it detects signals around a curve, that pretty much says it, no?
Thanks for any help / suggestions / opinions.
