Whistler PRO-78 new owner
Just placed an order on Amazon for a Whistler PRO-78 for 131 bucks.
Kind of excited since I've been waiting to personally see how much of a difference it is from the PRO-73 unit I once owned.
I will keep you guys posted on my thoughts and experiences with this new detector once I receive it.
Also one question....
All the PRO series detectors come with a hardwire kit correct?
Congrats on the 78! You will be impressed. Make sure it's Rev C and leave POP off for the extra K and Ka sensitivity!
Yes it does come with the hardwire kit.

check first if it is rev c or not. if it is rev c no need to send it for upgrade.
to check plugin the power cord while holding city button.
When was Rev C released? Cause aren't all PRO-78 and xtr-690 units that come from whistler Rev C now?
They have been for a while now.
