    CK15 do yourself a favor and send it back to Mike B for a checkup-

    Where did you purchase your 78? Authorized dealer? You know sometimes stuff happens and a lemon will get through the process...same with the big boys like the V1 and Escorts.

    I'm sure if you send it in, you will have it back in a few days. I sent mine in to be upgraded to Rev. C on a Monday morning and Friday morning it was back in my hands.

    Like dmo said this happens with every RD brand. Sometimes one slips through the cracks that isn't quite working as it should. You can read this in every other RD brand forum here. I have to second asking where you got it from and if they were an authorized dealer.

    I know you said it's not worth sending in to Mike B for a check up but if you're not willing to do what others suggest then why even still complain about it?

    i never said i wouldnt send it in, i can send it in but i dont think i will have it back in time to get it for my trip, which is the whole reason i bought the stupid thing

    walmart sells them on the website with 2 day delivery to the store, i was thinking about ordering another unit and then returning my unit, basically just exchanging my unit for the new one. does walmart sell the rev c version?
