another thing about pulse; i dont know if it applies here; but on my 1660 i used to have if i had it point blank range to my x or k guns sometimes it would not register as a pulse it would slowly ramp up to maximum... that kinda freaked me out....

pull the radar away a bit or separate by a wall and you'd get a solid pulse alert... and wait 10 seconds between tries or else the rd thinks its the same encounter

Thanks for the comments. I'll try to trigger the PULSE warning by switching the POP mode back on.

On the Pro 78 the only time I've had problems with it delaying the alert is on Filter 2 where it had to process, and then it FIRST gave out the voice saying "Ka Band" instead of beeping Ka band first and then going "Ka Band" on normal 'Filter' mode.

Thanks Ken. I have the unit set on the base Filter mode (default).

I am curious to see what it looks like when it detecting a Stalker Ka or Kustom Ka radar signal.
