Can anyone with a 695 press and hold down the city button while plugging in the unit and continue to hold the button down until all info scrolls across the screen and tell me what it says? ie. Rev#

Holding down the city button and powering up it says " XTR695 REV C"
then it says SHUT OFF and powers down and then back up.

Well I dont give up easily so....yesterday at the car show I ran across a 2005 GTO that had a RD mounted with a bracket attached to his RVM. It was perfect inasmuch as it a) looked like it was part of his RVM b) put the RD at the perfect level/angle c) put the RD totally out of the direct sunlight. Checked it out and sure enough the Whistler would work perfectly...so I ordered three of these....at least now the XTR 690 in my daughters G6 and the XTR 695 in my Silverado will be mounted totally and completely out of the direct sunlight......I measured and the GTO/Silverado and the G6 call have a 3/4" stem and just a hair under 2" of "drop" is needed to clear the RVM on all three.....You folks probably knew about these all along and I'm the last one in the lunch line here....but maybe there is another lost soul out there that didn't

I just checked and the new manuals are up - Pro-78, XTR 695, Pro-68 etc.
