Default The 695 is released... but

    I have a few questions...
    1) Why has the Whistler web-site not been updated with an on-line manual for people that are interested in purchasing the product to read? I prefer to read the manual before I buy most prodcts that I decide to purchase.
    2) Why, (and I know it is not Whistlers problem) hasn't the FCC web-site been updated with the newest info added to that platform (ie shared with the78 and 690)?
    3) Why doesn't Radarbusters.com sell the product?
    4) (Catuion: a can of worms may be opened). Is there REV# displayed on the 695's screen when performing a factory reset? What is it? (Edit): It is not the factory reset, rather it is holding the city button down while plugging in the unit, and continuing to hold the city button down until all info scrolls.

They updated it already then? Because there are more features in the 695 than there are in the 690 so that doesn't make sense unless they did what Whistler1 said.

Oh really? No kiddin'? Then where is it? I ass/u/me that you have heard that they now share a paper version. (That is what I have heard). However, the 695 has several more featues and I would like for someone that knows what in the hell they are talking about to respond. Why hasn't an on-line manual for the 695 come out yet

They ( Whistler) needs to have somebody scan and publish the manuals I agree....not a big deal...They also don't have the manual for the Pro 68 (not the 78) available....I learned awhile back it is the little things that ruin the good things you may accomplish. I do wish Whistlers website reflected the outstanding product/customer serve they have. It really drags them backwards....
I have the people that can do it. Michael give me a PM and we can talk....dont want to come across as a whiner and no offer of a solution here....

yea its kind of cheap, you can tell they took the 690 manual and added a paragraph or two and changed the front page to "690/695 users guide". Sorry i don't have a scanner otherwise i would upload it.

I think that speaks loudly about what they think of manuals (i.e. making new ones for new products and/or updating current ones on their site)

Could you also elaborate on the display? I was thinking of buying one, but I am worried about the display and whether it can be seen or not.
