Default Will POP Off also lower K Band sensitivity?

    I have a Whistler XTR-695

Do you think by turning POP off it will might also help with the number of falsings I get on K Band in the City core also?

I'm guessing that by turning POP off it might make K band also less sensitive and my ride would be quieter.

Turning POP OFF does not make the unit less sensitive.

As for the falses you reveive in town, if they are from stationary sources such as door openers, POP ON vs. POP OFF will make no difference.

Thanks for your quick reply Michael.

You seem to know a lot about Whistler.
I havn't had a detector in years but so far love the XTR-695.

The only feature I haven't figured out is the backlight or dim features which the manual that came with it does not explain properly and really just explains the XTR-690.

What do the following features do? I seem to only understand the Bright-Bright but I can see it can do other things as well.

I don't understand what the other features/options are capable of.

The 7 Display backlight options are

    OFF-OFF
    OFF-DIM
    OFF-BRT
    DIM-OFF
    DIM-DIM
    DIM-BRT
    BRT-BRT

Thank you very much for your assistance.

The display backlight options are teh status of the backlight under 2 conditions.

    no alarm - alarm

DIM-BRT would be DIM when not alarming and BRT when alarming.

OFF-BRT would be off when not alarming and BRT when alarming

DIM-OFF would be DIM when not alarming and OFF when alarming

and so on, and so on, and so on.
