    Default Good save

Hi everyone, been a while since I've posted on here.
My Pro 78 has been sitting on my desk for the last few weeks, really the only driving I have been doing is just short distances around town where I know there are no traps, but yesterday I was headed out to Millington (about a 20 mile drive), which involves getting on a highway so I always bring my RD.

Coming back I got a little less than half-mile alert, about .4 miles according to the odometer. Not stellar, but I guess for the conditions it was good, and it sure did save me in the end.
The speed limit drops from 55 to 45, and me and most other drivers were still going above the limit. Approaching a small hill (right before the Reduced speed/45MPH sign), I get a KA alert level 2. I gradually bring the speed down to 40, and sure enough as soon as I top the hill there is a sheriff sitting in a crown vic on the median doing CO radar.
Without an XTR 695 or Escort it's hard to tell, but I want to think he was using 34.7 band, isn't that a little harder for the Pro 78 to detect? But none the less, good over the hill warning!

Nice save! Ka can be a pain especially over hills/curves and I'm glad I've got a Pro 78 and I do trust it to do its job very well and it has saved me so many times already.
