While driving at 80-85MPH on a 70, the road began to veer to the left, and I heard the voice say "Ka Band", looked at the RD and saw "35.5". As we kept turning left with the traffic, the signal grew stronger and the RD beeped more and more. Then about 1.5 miles from the initial detection range, there was a LEO sitting about 50-100 feet from the road at a 45 degree angle or so, shooting radar toward traffic.
In short, my Whistler saved me from being lit up.
