    Default Hardwire Question

How do you hardwire above RVM when your mirror isn't wired/electrical? I'm guessing you can't really conceal the cord any other way?

    Thanks.

Run your hardwire under your headliner and down under your driver side pillar to your fuse box

you can buy an extension cord from walmart for like six bucks and run it discretely, thats what i did for a while. you can also buy the cobra/universal hardwire kit from bestbuy, i think they cost like $12

The only power near my RVM is constant (interior lights), I did exactly as stated above and ran a phone cord from the fusebox up the a-pillar and across the headliner.

In my last car (1994 vw jetta), there was a switched 12v present in the overhead light so I just tapped into that with a 2A fused wire and tapped into the ground as well (not ideal, but i wasn't putting a screw through the roof for it lol, or running a longer wire down to the dash)
