Default Forward facing 35.5 Ka video 8/23/09

New Mexico state police running Forward facing C/O 35.5 Ka. I thought this was a descent detection since the truck was blocking the radar antenna. I went passed him 2 miles and turned back around to his direction and still was detecting him after the video was over.

I'm confused. Was the original alert shown in the video? If so, that's not too hot.

    Thanks for the video!

Edit: realized it was FF NM.

Nice forward facing range. Too bad he was not rolling towards you, it would have been a long alert, judging by how open and flat that area is. What highway was that on? My best alert on 35.5 for my Pro 78SE was 2.5 miles with him rolling towards me in New Mexico on I-40. 1.25 miles of alert until I met him, 2.5 total.

Yes that was the first alert ! The radar Antenna was blocked by the Toyota so the radar was scattered on the back of the truck and not aiming down the road. I can easily pick off 35.5 for 3 miles in this New Mexico terrain. They love to run Constant on 35.5 ..

Oh ya i have one more video uploading

Pretty good forward facing after you past him, since the truck was between you and him and there were nothing else in front of you for the radar wave to bounce back from.

Great detect! And this was with the non-SE version, correct?

That truck driver better not drive like that in AZ. LEOs and speed cameras all over the place. I didn't run into much detection in NM while there recently.
