I think Tx DPS gave me the quick trigger tonight ?

I just got off work and was fixing to go up a overpass I got a very brief Ka alert of 1. As i came up over the overpass a DOT DPS Tahoe lit me up with a KA9 for just a millisecond not even half a second at 200ft while moving. I'm guessing he lit up the car in front of me and I got a brief scatter before going up the overpass. I was doing 80 in a 65 and maybe had 2 seconds to react to the encounter. There was no traffic on the other side. The person in the car ahead did not have a RD cause i passed them later to scope. Be careful out there people. I was in FILTER mode. I believe FILTER 2 would have been to late.

I can't see how most RD makers are like "ZOMG POP RADAR IS GOING TO PWN U" when in reality, they ignore the biggest threat?

I have tested a Valentine One (1.8) with a Ka 34.7 Stalker doing quick triggers(Just doing the trigger in and out, not holding it. Probably a 0.2 second burst of radar). It detected it just fine. So did my Pro 78. However, every other detector (Mainly Escort) blatantly failed.

I've seen DPS Tahoes on my last 4 trips from Houston to Austin. Looks like they may be becoming more common. I've also encountered a few DPS pickups running CO.

He was on the North loop before University. He likes to sit in the Oreilly auto parts DC center and runs constant on or hangs by the access road using I/0 from the rear antenna.
