Yesterday I had to drive back to Foley, AL to get my license that I left at the Verizon office over there. On the way back I got a blip of Ka band, it didn't specify which band it was. I imagine it was either 34.7 or 33.8 ka band since those are the two frequencies commonly seen there. I was sitting at a stop light at the time of the alert. When the light goes green I continue about 3/4 of a mile to see a leo approaching from the opposite direction, I imagine that he was using I/O.
This morning on the way to work I got a K band alert after coming off a bridge on I-10 East. I got a K band alert which remained constant for nearly two miles. According to my odometer it was about 1.7 miles. I saw the leo approaching me. That's the best K band encounter I've had with this Whistler to date.
I'm glad to have the 695 back.
