Friday afternoon traveling south bound on I-15.
1st radar encounter was from a local PD patrol car running 35.5 Ka band radar coming on to the freeway in American Fork, UT.

2nd radar encounter was still south bound I-15 somewhere south of Spanish Fork, Utah. The initial alert (a couple weak Ka alerts without RSID) was over 30 seconds prior to the start of the video. I never did spot the Leo as I drove past the radar source. I was thinking maybe a Leo shooting 34.7 Ka radar in an unmarked car?

3rd radar encounter took place on I-15 north of Scipio, Utah where the posted speed limit is 80mph. The initial alert was about 10 seconds prior to the start of the video as I came around a big left curve. The UHP patrol car must have just came over the big hill way ahead of me. I did spot the UHP patrol car as it drove past me, but I failed to capture it on video.

4th radar encounter was just south of the I-70 junction still heading south bound on I-15. The pro 78se detected a short burst of 34.7Ka as I came over a hill. It was possibly a Q/T, because I've never seen such a short strong burst of 34.7Ka alert before. It came from UHP patrol car parked on the shoulder of the northbound lanes on I-15 facing the crest of the hill. The Pro 78se detected the radar signal just as I came over the hill going southbound. The alert was very short and 2 seconds later another very short alert as the car behind me came over the same hill. I reached for my camera and heard my wife say "too late" as we both noticed the parked UHP with only his parking lights on in the dark. My wife freaked out a bit when the UHP pulled out and turned around coming toward behind us. I calmed my wife and told her that I wasn’t speeding “much”. The UHP never did pull anyone over and eventually fell back and disappeared. No video, since it all happened too fast.
Next day on my way to Bryce Canyon NP on Utah state road 89.
5th radar encounter was a 34.7Ka I/O from a UHP. He turned his radar on for about 3 seconds as soon as we saw each other coming around a curve. It was a good thing I wasn’t speeding, since there was no time to react. I try not to speed much when I don’t have a rabbit.
6th radar encounter was a solar powered K band speed sign I saw just outside the entrance to Bryce Canyon NP. I went back out of the park and made another approach to get it on video.

Sunday night on the way back to Salt Lake City.
7th radar encounter was of a UHP at an exit ramp with a customer. The initial alert (no RSID) was about 5 to 10 seconds prior to the start of the video.

8th and the last radar encounter was very discouraging at first, because I thought the radar signals were from the first 2 Leos I saw (a motorcycle cop and UHP patrol car). I quickly realized that the radar signal the Pro 78se detected was from a UHP further down the freeway on the other side.
