I had two encounters last night on the 695 that weren't so good. I was going down Pine Forest Rd in Pensacola FL towards I-10 and I see a State Trooper with his lights on behind a car that apparently ran into the ditch. My radar detector was silent. Then when I get on top of him my Whistler alerts to 34.7 ka band. I assume that he only had his front antennas on considering that the Whistler hung on to a signal for a bit when I went past him.
Second encounter was on the way back from my gf's house. I was going down Mobile Hwy towards Pine Forest Rd and over a hill I see a cops with their lights on. One was an Escambia County Officer the other was a State trooper. Right before the last hill where I am visible to them I get a 35.5 ka band alert. This also may of been forward facing but I'm not sure.
I'm surprised that I got more warning on 35.5 than 34.7 on the rev C platform. To be fair, the first officer was at 45 degree angle.
