    Question can XTR-330 do that?

    Hello,
I am from Bulgaria. Our policeman torturing us with X band ONLY.
When I'm in town or outside I run my RD on Highway H (no City filtering)
My Question, is it possible to get rid off the alarm if the signal is less than 3 on K, Ka Bands not the X

    Greetings Vandko

Unfortunately those kinds of settings are not available on this model. Budget detectors typically don't have as many filtering options. However, the 330 will do fine against X band.

    HI Vandko!
Don't know about all the Whistler models but if you're only concerned with detecting X-band, then any of the Pro models will alow turning OFF K and/or Ka bands completely.
Here in the States though, thats not a wise thing do as most policia radar here is K or Ka band!

Are you sure about turning off Ka band? I don't think that's an option.

Obviously i've never turned Ka off but according to the 78se owner's manual, these are the Ka menu options:
    RSID, NORM, OFF, MAX, MAXID

According to the xtr-695 owner's manual, the Ka menu options are:
Ka BAND ON Ka BAND OFF

Could be wrong but i assume OFF means totally disabling Ka band detection.

You would be correct, it disables Ka band
