Default Whistler SRT-35R ALL BANDS Laser/Radar Detector

Does the Whistler SRT-35R ALL BANDS Laser/Radar Detector come with POP? and if it does should I buy it?

No POP according to Whistlers web site and No I would not buy it.
Either spend a little more money on a pro series or look at the Bel 795 at Radio Shack.

I'm going to buy this RD before the 10th because it becomes off sale then. For $40 dollars iam going to just try it out and see how good/bad it works. I know that it's not a good RD. Just having some fun here. Are you allowed to return a RD though from Radio Shack? I was thinking about just keeping it for a few weeks and then returning it lol.

You might check Radio Shacks return policy on radar detectors, it may be a different policy when it comes to radar detectors.

That thing will drive you crazy!!!

Is this one ANY good? I have looked all over and i can't find any return policies. How is the X, Ka, and K band on this? Is there any range at all? For some reason it LOVES to beep at certin red lights. Must be the false alarms. $40 bucks! not bad this RD is not for full proof, just to play around with untill i get money for an X50!

I do not think you will find any one on this forum who has this detector.
If you are wanting something to play around with for fun I will make you a great deal on a Whistler 1773 or PRO58 hahahahahaa.

Seriously I think you would be better off saving your money towards the detector you really want.
Do you have any way to really test it or are you going to drive around and just see how well it does detecting alerts and falses?

If you do decide to buy it I would make sure you can return it.

I will be saving money up from X-mas since I don't get presents any more so my parents give me 800 bucks. What kind of deals could you make me on the Whistler 1773 and the Pro 58?

I've had it for my first day today, and I have had a few false alarms. I've noticed that it always comes up as VG2 by red lights. I have yet to pick up a cop. Also, I have no clue on how i am going to put it for high way mode.
