Recent...troubles?

I own a pro-78 SE, and have for about a month, and for some stupid reason, me being the genius I am, decided to reset it. Now, when I drive by malls and such, I get annoying Ka Falses, and its bothering the hell out of me. Its not as bad as a cobra, but I used to get a seriously quick reaction time and no falses.

I think my settings may be off. My real question is...what should they be? As far as I can remember right now:

Highway
Pop Off
KA Max
Filter 1

I don't know about the others, but as much detail is the best. Also what laser setting should I use for best laser detection? False alerts arent a problem with laser, I just don't want KA falses.

If I reset my 690se it will false Ka like crazy for a week and suddenly calm down and become so silent I would get scared its broken. Detection range however doesn't appear to change at all...

Try Filter 2,,if Ka False alot.try Ka Norm...I dont think Whistler has Setting for Laser other then LSID option.

Use the LSID feature so if you get hit you will know what gun you got hit with or if its a false from a cruise control system. If Ka falsing continues in Filter1 and 2 then try turning off KaMax. Its hard to make a clear suggestion for those settings considering every city and town is different. SWS(SR in menu) can easily be turned off considering you have a higher chance of getting struck by a train than finding a SWS drone.
