Whistler Cruisader VS Escort Passport 7500s with H.A.R.D

hello ladies .. I need some advice.

I am currently runnning a Passport 7500s (updated) with the H.A.R.D system. The setup works fine and is very effective. I ran this setup for a year on a Beltronics but changed it out to the 7500s because of the Beltronics weight and it's tendency to break the mount ...not to mention the ritual of sending it back to the factory because of calibration errors every other month.

Anyway ..I want to try the Whistler Cruisader ..but am worried I will lose range and sensitivity that I have come to expect from my mid grade Escort product. I used a whistler product a few years back in my mini dodge rocket truck and it stunk to high heaven ..the Ka warning was like 2 city blocks on good day with luck. My sister in law has the new version of the whistler and it works on par with an RMR product IMO .....

So guy's the question is do I stay with tried and true (but mounted for all to see ..pain the arse to remove everytime etc..) or do try this Whistler Cruisader job. I have very low regard for whislter products in general but I am allways open for a change of mind (in most cases you poofs).

I don't have an answer to your question but recent vintage Whistlers seem improved. Exactly what makes a 7500s updated?

thanks for the link ..I used that test to help me decide if 239.99 was worth the $$ for the full cruisader system I bought in the first place.

sort of what i was after ...was real world thoughts ... guys who have used both systems (or the cruisader for that matter) and are experienced with advanced radar skills and would swear by it as a viable tool to avoid ..say jail. also i was looking for someone to verify my thoughts on the whistler product line in general-or to tell me that I am way of base and the whistler stuff rocks. not a debate about it, just some opinions and reasons for me to feel safe for using this product vs just sticking with what I have.
