Pro-3600 Availability

We held up the start of the Pro-3600 briefly in order to implement a K band performance upgrade to be in effect from the onset of the product release.

Good information, and it is nice to see you implemented a performance upgrade for K-band. Was it a software or hardware tweak?


At any rate, I look forward to it, but with the rumors of a release of an Sti-R Plus in USA, this might be a bit late. We will see though... as this is much more into my price range.

Will this have any filtering modes to delay k band alerts due to traffic flow sensors?

Performance was hardware

Traffic flow delay question (budda1) is a software feature and currently it does not offer this for the production release but the unit is software updatable so future enhancements are a mouse click away.

Will this hardware gain also increase Ka-band performance (as side-effect per say). So say it increased K-band by -3db, is Ka increased at all with this new hardware?

I know you can't get into specific numbers, but I was just citing them for clarification purposes.

I would think X band would be gained more than Ka band because of the X and K sweep. I could be wrong. I see this platform is not going to be identical to a SE platform.
