Default Detailed examination of Whistler's Pro-3600 Reactivity

The following video is the second in a series demonstrating the varying reactivity/responsiveness of detectors from Whistler, Valentine, and Escort and the filtering modes from Whistler and Escort that are effective at filtering out SpeedInfo's traffic flow sensors which utilize short-duration K-band IO to monitor traffic flow-rates throughout certain U.S. cities.

I hope you find it informative.

Even if we don't ever see a V2, Valentine has to come up with something to filter out these sensors.

    Escort almost.......almost that is.......doesn't need TSR ().

Score a few points for Whistler here. It's fast enough to catch every one but can also be dialed back to screen out these pulses. Now if they could just get a grip on the Ka falsing and improve the K-Band sensitivity.

Would have liked to see the STi-R Plus in action here. We're very confident of the exceptional Ka reactivity with BS and RDR but results seem to vary on K-Band between different STi-R units that were tested. Seems there were different hardware/firmware versions along the way with the STi-R and BS/RDR had no effect on K-Band with Riptide's unit.....but Radar Rob's supposedly responded well with these features activated. Hope the Plus is based on Rob's STi-R!

Very good. Shows how responsive the V1, Redline and 3600 are. Pretty cool to see the flexibile program settings in the 3600.

Having that many filter modes is a pretty cool little addition to the unit.

The feature department is NAILED down by Whistler. I see the features of the 3600 as the design of RD.net

X2! Not only does Whistler offer features... they OFFER some of the most crucial features: In other words - optional purchase.

(GPS Module, 2nd antenna etc)... not to mention all they cram into the stock unit.
