Default Whistler PRO 3600 Start-up Tests

Just completed a PRO 3600 install. Is there a way to "skip" the start-up test cycle which can be annoying every time you start the car. Most detectors I've owned before had an option that allowed you to to by-pass the start-up tests, but I don't see that option available on the 3600. Is there any workaround?

I would keep the start up self test on. This is to ensure everything is working properly when starting up. The last thing you want is a band or your detector fail on you when you have an encounter.

    Enter the Menu Option

Go to TEST and select OFF

Thanks Michael. It was right there in front of me, and I missed it.

Yeah, I keep the self-test on... but it has a bazillion options (especially if you have GPS attached)... so they are indeed easy to overlook.

I'm sorry to impose but are you ridiculously rich or something? I know you have way better detectors than the Pro-3600, are you a tester or something or the previous question? I wish I was as rich as speedtraphunter so I could drive around with so many detectors that I couldn't see out the windshield. LOL, I put my pro 3450 outside on the pole so when I'm inside the house I know a cop is around. Works good, otherwise that detector was pretty worthless.
