Sent in the X50 for repair 2 weeks ago.... it was bought like 2 months ago....

They called me the other day, seems as though i forgot to add the receipt of purchase. So I faxed it to them the very next day..whewwww thought id lost it. $65.00 they wanted for a repair if i didnt have it...

i dont recall what rev it had prior to sending it in....

yet i wonder if bellscort will update it if there is a new one prior to sendign it back to me.

Im gonna keep it for a backup..perhaps switch it around a bit betwen the V1 and escort for sanity reasons.

FunnyThey told me that the reason for the revision numbers is so that the technicians will know what year your detector was made if you call in with a problem or what not. But there is a performance difference

I believe the only difference is filtering..............

and I also believe that the only way to upgrade (Like in the case of a V1) is to buy another one
