Your shifter should go on the center hump just in front of the seats.

nice job posting constructive comments...

Mots: you do mean G5 right? not G6? either way, very nice choice :)

for the G5, if using the ZR3 Shifter, i'd do the following...put all three heads up front (always best on any car) but where the two smaller bars are would be the two front heads and then the longer bar would be across the front plate (i'm assuming you'll be using one, if not i think stick it on the back if your car is a dark color). also if you have a front plate, get a lasershield from roy (http://www.radarbusters.com/products/photo-radar/laser-shield.asp) along with veil if you dont already have it (http://www.radarbusters.com/products/coatings/veil.asp). if you need both, save $10 and get the package deal (http://www.radarbusters.com/products/specials/veil-shield.asp)

that should take care of you pretty well. although if i were you, i'd invest in an antilaser if you havnt already bought the ZR3. are jammers illegal where you are? the ZR3 is really noticeable...

that GTO is one hot car :D

if jamming is illegal, dont put the back one on the front. it will only attract attention becuase its huge and noticeable. when i'm hit with laser, only the front LED on the control lights up usually so i dont think the rear helps much. and i've been up against LTI ultralyte (very small one), 20/20 and PL3
