id say if it tracks 2 KA signals it will just show the stronger one... lets say its getting a 3KA and a 1 KA it will show 3KA on the display....

I'll PM you a url that will get you a PDF of the manual. Page 11 will show you what the display looks like.

Basically, it only shows one of each band.

thanks guys! More or less a bogey counter like the V1 has.

IMHO the bogey counter is something else. You can see on RX-65 how strong is each source, for example if there is a door-opener on K band behind you and a police car with Ka band in front of you then RX-65's display will show K2 Ka5, numbers are depend how strong is each source at your position.
At the same situation the V1 will show a number on its bogey counter (it depends the number of sources, in this case at least 2), K band LED and down arrow are on, Ka LED and up arrow are flashing (because Ka signal is stronger) and bottom LEDs are showing the strength of signal.

See that's one reason I am selling my RX 65. It will ONLY tell you multiple signals of different types (1K and 1 KA for example) when I pass the local Kroger it would be nice to know if the local police were sitting there again as they usually do. I know people say check the signal strengh but if I had a V1 it would show me 2 K.

If multiple threat tracking is important to you, the Escort X50 cannot be beat. It tracks MULTIPLE KA sources at the SAME time, not just the single on like the RX65.

My observation is that with auto-mute enabled on the RX65 I get a new alert when detecting multiple bogeys. For example, there is a spot in my city with two stores having k-band door openers pretty close to each . I pick up the first signal and the detector alerts then auto-mutes. When it detects the second k-band signal it unmutes and gives a new full alert.

With the RX65, I have been able to pick up an actual cop shooting K-band just past a grocery store with a K-band door opener. He was shooting instant on. Periodically when I approached the numerical signal strength on K-band would increase beyond normal (1-2) and the detector would come out of auto-mute letting me know something else was there too. I must say that whenever I use my detector it is always on highway mode even in the city. I find that when in places with a lot of falses I tend not to speed anyway because it is usually not safe to do so.
