I just started trying the little "L" setting (Logic mode) on my V1. I was using big "L" (Advanced Logic), but didn't like having to hit the mute botton manually so often. I found that the Logic mode doesn't go off that much more, and it is usually muted when it does as long as the threat is low. As a result, even though I'm supposidely seeing more bogeys, I'm hitting the mute button less. I like it! Any other thoughts?

I use the big L for the city and A for the Highway

coming from the X50 this is my comparison

A- Highway
Big L - City?
Small L- Automatic

I always thought (2 days of use) that the big L was the quietest one and least to give falses...

before I turned the X band detection off completely, I drove around in BIG L mode 24/7.

With X band off, I now drive around in A mode. Couldnt be happier!!!!! :o

I stick to little "L" all around town and then "A" on highways. It works great for me.

I have not messed with the original factory settings on my V1. Now, the question is...does "L" (adv. logic mode) take away any sensitivity from K or Ka band in the original factory settings?

Thanks!

According to 02 Car & Driver about .1 to .2 of a mile on K band
And it almost looks like an improvement on Ka instant on.
