Just picked up new X50. How to check software ver?

Fellas,

I just pick up a new X50. A big box retailer was having a decent sale this weekend. This allowed me to get the unit local at a pretty good price.

Anyway I am getting it set up in the car and looking forward to getting aquainted with it over the next few weeks. It's replacing a trusty Passport 4600 which was a champ of a detector.

Anyway how to you check the software version of the unit? If an upgrade is needed do I send it in to Esort?

Hold mute and both buttons on top then turn on, you will also loose your preferred settings.
Of course you would have to send it in if you wanted an upgrade.
You will either have version 3, 5, or rumor has it 11 is coming
