Normally, that would make a bit of news. However, he did it while driving a Toyota Prius. Who knew they could go that fast?

33mpg is pretty good for 104mph.
BTW, I read somewhere that the top speed of a 2005 prius is 120mph!!

That's an Ariel Atom. Normally it runs with a Toyota engine generating 110 horsepower or something, and still out-sprints Ferraris and McLarens from 0-60. If you put that tiny little Toyota I-4 in your 5-series, do you think it's going to be fast? No, it'll be a dog. That electric engine is going to give you all the mind-blowing performance of a crappy Toyota four-banger with the ever-practical driving range and logistical ease of your favorite toy RC car. And all the while causing massive environmental damage BOTH when the batteries are built AND when they're disposed of. GENIUS :roll:
Also, why do they go to the dragstrip with cars designed for the Nurburgring? They should run dragstrip tests against drag racing cars. If they want to try something out against a 360 and a Carrera GT, they should take them to a road course.
