I just purchased a 2008 Mercedes Benz sport and would like to install a radar counter measure device on it. I am leaning towards the Blinder M-25 based on reviews I see here and elsewhere. My concern is installation. I would like suggestions/help on locating an experienced Blinder installer here in NJ. Any help will be appreciated. Also, what do you think of the Blinder M-25 vs other devices.

Well first of all the Blinder M25 is a laser countermeasure (laser jammer), not a radar countermeasure.

U are right. I am new to the radar detector/jammer devices and that's one of the reason I'm seeking advice on device/installation.

My suggestion would be to study the forums to learn how detectors/jammers work before you just plop something in your car and have no clue what that crazy noise is and complain about all the "false alarms" to the customer service reps. Check out guysoflidar.com and read up on the test results. Stay away from craig peterson's site as he is in bed with escort/beltronics. Also pick yourself up a good service manual for the benz. If you still have any questions after reading through the test results, let us know :)

if you want the best blinder is not the best, Laser Interceptor is

now this is LASER jamming not radar you need to check up on what is used in your area, if you don't have one already it will probably be smarter to start with a radar detector, use that same site for radar detector reviews

if you still want to go for the blinder, you can purchase a cheetah wirelss fitting kit cost about $170 and is ment for the average joe to be able to install a jammer in no time.
