For owning two Cobras! I now know the feeling. I was making my commute home today, doing a cautious 62 in a 55 when all the sudden I get a full blast K alert on my v955 that lasted for a good ten seconds.

I about pee'd my pants!

Only other traffic on the road was a truck with a radar detector in the window....

Yeah, Cobra radar detectors are extremely annoying for drivers who use any other brand of radar detector. Cobras must give all other manufacturers real headaches in trying to filter them out without ignoring true police radar guns. I really think that Cobra deliberately chose the LO frequencies which they use in order to cause these problems for all other radar detector manufacturers.

Maybe we should nuke Japan just one more time!

'cept aren't they made in Korea?

Oh well, nuke everyone.... :D

Lol, yeah, well, we all know how ramp up can be sometimes on Bels. To all the sudden get a full strength K out of nowhere when I've passed three LEOs running K next to each other and only had 4 bars.....It was insane!

My wife is still running the 9930, but as long as we don't pass each other on the highway.... 8)

I'm sure if my obsession continues she'll have a nice 955 while I pursue an STI or V1....

Yep I was just driving along the highway minding my own business, when I get a KA alert that slowy ramps up.

I was just crusing probably going 7 over PSL so I slow down, and about a minute later a red neon flys by me probably doing close to 20 over in the left lane, with a Cobra stuck to the windshield! :x

That thing was leaking like crazy!

Hello,

LOL, that's when I give them a 'dose' of Golden Eagle Ka as a pay back. 8)

Take care,

Spin

I could aim a Walgreens door opener at him!

But that's why I was thinking 'bout the Bushnell. Plus, I've always wanted to find an answer to the "How fast is THAT guy going?" question.

War is amazing if you are the winning side. It creates more jobs in the defense sector, raises nationalism and unity, drives new inventions and technologies, and helps with population control. But then again, I am in the defense industry so I may be a little biased.

I've had great success with causing cobra owners to check their brakes using the bushnell :) I just fear that I am somehow causing harm to my V1 by using it in close proximity over a long period of time...I see it like screaming in someones ear...eventually they will go deaf

I had repeated Ka hits today on a road trip down to aseavey's stomping ground (was there on business). Going thru that place was like running a Ka and K gauntlet. But I think the intermittent Ka I kept getting was someone elses Cobra.

On the way home, I got a NICE over the hill K save with the 955. Time enough to disengage cruise and coast down to 70 from 80 mph and watch a Lincoln in front of me get pegged! The folks in the car with me were amazed. They were all in the "I thought those don't work anymore" crowd.

Japan is an ally and full of many brilliant people which contribute to the design of products we use all the time.

i'f we nuke someone it should be North Korea, Iran, or Syria since they are douches and threats to our well being.

I was thinking of getting a radar gun to assist in matching my hwy speed to a chosen rabit from an extra safe following distance.

Well, that might also be fun for tormenting cobra users. Get behind him. Everytime he speeds up, PING!

Same here, I don't touch people unless they set my V1 off, or it is a cobra person with it aimed at the sky...I want them to get the "this doesn't work" mentality and toss it in the can so the ones who actually not want to be a cheapskate don't have to be hassled and annoyed by falses. Plus I just like destroying the ego of those who drive in the ricers and think they are invincible....something about that makes me smile :D

How often does something with practical use have such mischief potential? Seems like a good buy for safe driving, and a fun cobra-clobbering time is just an added benefit!
